No Spillage

Water spillage and leaks should as far as possible be reduced to a minimum.

Everything counts when operating a waterworks – not least leakages in the pipe system.
The electronic water meter MULTICAL 21 offers itself as a reliable and useful surveillance unit at each consumer.
A number of info codes in the display will reveal irregularities.

Leak

The MULTICAL 21 measures by means of ultrasound being the most reliable measuring principle.

The water meter constantly registers the flow rate. If the meter during 24 hours does not register at least one hour with zero flow, it will report this as a possible sign of leakage.
Because of the ultrasonic metering method a flow rate down to few litres/hour can be registered so that even tiny leaks will be detected.

An early warning of leaks gives the possibility of repairing them before they evolve and become detrimental.

Leak surveillance is an obvious benefit for the supplier as well for the consumer.

Other info codes

Burst – If the water flow has been unusually high for at least 30 minutes.

Tamper – Attempted tamper will be registered as an event together with the date of the attempt.

Dry – No water in the meter will be registered as an event.

Reverse – In case of reversed flow direction. The water meter may be falsely installed.
